Marmara University Göztepe Campus Urban Design Project embraced configuration of all outdoor areas without adding any indoor area by preserving existing buildings. The main criteria in this configuration is;

• To create a university campus identity,
• To increase the usage of outdoor space and to increase the spatial quality,
• To build the vehicle and pedestrian circulation systems and put them in functional order,
• To adopt spatial configurations with constructional (material, form, color etc.)
• To raise environmental aesthetics and to maximize visual, auditory, kinetics user perceptions,
• To build according to social needs such as meeting and socialization.
